Practice Schedule: (Shared court for all practices)
Thursday Nights: Full hour practice
- Junior High: Court 4: 6-7pm Teams 1 & 2
- High School: Court 4: 7-8pm Teams 1 & 2
- High School: Court 4: 8-9pm Teams 3 & 4
Friday Nights: Full hour practice
- 2-4th Court 4: 6-7pm – Teams 1 & 2
- 5-7th Court 4: 7-8pm – Teams 1 & 2
- Junior High Court 4: 8-9pm – Teams 3 & 4
Each team will practice for 30-40 minutes prior to each game to ensure players are warmed up
and ready to compete for their weekly league game after the practice.
Courts 1 & 4 will be used for Team Practices
Courts 2 & 3 will be used for League Games
Saturday Warmup Practice Schedule:
Note: Practice times and dates stay the same for each Saturday & Thursday with no changes
week to week.
Note: All spectators will still need to pay for entrance fee for practices as games will be played
directly after.

About The Dortch Development League
Our Community
The DDL consists of mostly rec league players with a few higher-level athletes sprinkled in. Each player will go through an evaluation process after which they will be assigned to a team. Teams will be divided equally based on talent and experience. This will ensure that everyone is on the same playing level. Teams will have an 8-player maximum ensuring that each athlete will receive the necessary playing time to get better.
The Vision
Imagine a league where each player has his own custom jersey with his name on the back. A league where each player has his name announced before the game while running through a crowd of high fives with his favorite music blasting in the background. A league with a live commentator screaming your kids name every time he makes a shot. A league with a live stat tracker so players can keep track of their averages. A league where not only are there no technical calls for celebrations. Their encouraged! A league where the referees actually interact with the children during the game to help them get better. A league where former and current college athletes will stop by randomly to advice the players. A league with an end of the year all-star game. Three-point shootout and 9 ft rim dunk contest!
